INTER NOW CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FAVOURITES
Inter Milan sent reigning Champions League champions Barcelona to the brink of elimination following their victory in the first leg of their semi-final at the San Siro on Wednesday.
Is this tie over? The last time Barcelona lost 3-1 in the 1st leg of a CL match, they went on to beat Chelsea 5-1 aet in the return leg in 2000. So all to play for, but Inter Milan are in pole position.
INTER MILAN are now 13/8 favourites to win the Champions League with William Hill who make them 4/6 to eliminate Barcelona who are 11/10 to recover from their two goal deficit. ‘Victory for Inter will make Mourinho an even hotter property in the managerial market’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
