LADBROKES has cut the price of a snap March General Election following renewed speculation about an early trip to the ballot box. The firm, who are betting on every British constituency, are now 8/1 from 10/1. May remains favourite, but is on the drift to 1/ 4 from 1/6.
Ladbrokes spokesman, Nick Weinberg, said: “For months now May has been the only show in town for politics punters. But there’s a growing sense that the PM may go early.”
The Conservative Party are 1/12 to win most seats and 2/5 to form an overall majority. Labour are 6/1 and 12/1 respectively.
