HUNG PARLIAMENT ODDS SHORTEN AS POLL SHOWS LABOUR CATCHING UP
BOOKMAKERS WILLIAM HILL HAVE cut their odds for a Hung Parliament following the next General Election from 5/2 to 2/1 after poll results showed Labour making inroads into the Conservative lead.
‘Shrewd punters have been squirreling money away on the Hung Parliament option for some months now and the latest poll has encouraged us to take the scissors to the 5/2 odds and cut them to 2/1′ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
HILLS NOW MAKE THE TORIES 4/9 TO WIN WITH A CLEAR OVERALL MAJORITY, WITH LABOUR 12/1 DO LIKEWISE.
