ENGLAND have been cut to 5/1 (from 6/1) and are the new SECOND favourites for the World Cup with Ladbrokes behind tournament favourites Spain (4/1).

Can Capello's men win the World Cup?
Capello’s men have leapfrogged Brazil in the betting who are out to 11/2 after England secured a relatively easy group in Group C alongside USA, Algeria and Slovenia.
And Ladbrokes are anticipating record-breaking interest in the 2010 spectacular in South Africa.
David Williams of Ladbrokes said: “World Cup fever is set to grip the country. We’re bracing ourselves for football meltdown next Summer. Cape Town has whetted the appetite and we reckon England should be pretty chuffed with the draw.”
At 5/1 England are at their shortest price heading into a World Cup in a generation.
“Bookies have enjoyed decades of fortune courtesy of stuttering England teams. For the first in a seriously long time there’s a real feeling they can win and it’s got us worried” added Williams.
