DANYL Johnson has been backed into 11/4, from 3/1, sole favouritism to win X Factor, according to Ladbrokes. And the bookies reckon the 27-year-old has benefited from the sympathy vote following Dannii Minogue’s comments.
Ladbrokes spokesman, Nick Weinberg, said: “Punters initially found it hard to connect with Danyl which is why he went on the drift. But he appears to have won the public over.”
John and Edward are 7/4 favourites for the chop this week.
Weinberg added: “Somehow they made it through. Surely they can’t repeat the trick?”
Ricky Whittle is 6/5 to win Strictly Come Dancing, whilst Craig Kelly is the 7/4 fancy to go.
