WILLIAM HIL have lengthened their odds for Michael Owen to make the England squad for the World Cup finals from 2/1 to 5/2 following his latest injury setback, and he is now 2/7 to miss out. ‘It has been one step forward, one step back for Michael Owen, but few fans would not want him included in the squad if he is fit, well and scoring nearer the time’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
